Hygienic tratments Dental hygienists are professional health care providers who provide a complementary function to that of the dentist. They are trained to clean and polish patients’ teeth and also offer advice on general oral health such as flossing, diet and brushing. Some hygienists are also qualified as radiographers and will assist with X-rays in the practice. Non-invasive procedures such as fluoride coating of teeth and anti-bacterial treatments of the gums may be carried out by the hygienist. They are able to remove plaque and tartar and restore the good appearance of your teeth. These hygienist sessions form an important part of your overall dental care regime and are an inexpensive way to keep your teeth in optimum condition. Having your teeth professionally cleaned by a hygienist can also maintain the life of crowns, fillings and implants and prevent any minor issues turning into expensive problems. Ask your Forest&Ray and dentist about our hygienist service. |

Zoom whitening We use Zoom! Whitening technology, which is Zoom!gel + Zoom! Light (laser) together and it takes for about 45 minutes. The procedure is simple; it starts with a short preparation to cover your lips and gums leaving only your teeth exposed. The hygienist applies the proprietary whitening gel, which was designed to be used specifically with the Zoom! Light. The light and gel work together to gently penetrate your teeth, breaking up the stains and discoloration. During this time you can relax. The gel is applied for 3 fifteen minute sessions for a total treatment time of 45 minutes. Finally you go home with your brighter and whiter smile. |
